Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Alicante. (MACA)

The Maca is located in the historic center of the city of Alicante, opposite the monumental basilicaof Santa María. It is a new, impressive building that takes up an entire city block and encompassesthe restrained volume of the Casa de la Asegurada, the oldest civil building of the city, built in 1685as a wheat public granary, and also a prominent example of the Valencian Baroque.
